The first event in Tollefson Plaza this year is Bazi Reigns!

BAZI, a premier health supplement from the company XELR8, has partnered with Heart for Africa in an effort to ignite action in communities world wide. Bazi Reigns is a local response to this challenge in the Tacoma Community. In Washington we see a very real need for assistance to stay dry and warm in the cold winter months because of the constant rain. In Pierce County alone there are well over 2,000 people who have absolutely no consistent home or shelter to keep them dry. Staying dry is the first step in staying warm throughout these cold months in the harsh outdoors.

You can help by bringing red, white, or black umbrellas and rain ponchos, as well as cash contributions to Tollefson Plaza on Saturday, January 16th, 2010. All collections will be given to the care of the Tacoma Rescue Mission. They will immediately distribute the proceeds to those in need in our community.
